Аннотация:The article presents the review of the activities of the puppet masters of Buryatia at the present stage: the authors’ creativity, exhibition projects. The classification of the dolls of the masters of Buryatia on the basis of the tech-nique of making is given, attention is paid to the issue of preserving handmade techniques. The perspectives of creating dolls in the development of the crea-tive economy of the Republic of Buryatia are considered.
