Аннотация:The author, a graduate of the Tomsk Topographic College and NIIGAiK, associate professor, director of the SGUGiT labor safety center, participant in the aftermath of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, presents the main stages of his activity in the geodetic industry and the university, where he has been successfully working for more than 45 years. The article contains fragments of memories of working at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, solving problems of organizing labor protection at the university and the Novosibirsk region, establishing an educational process in life safety, participating in social work, interacting with like-minded people and friends.
