Аннотация:This paper uses a questionnaire to find out that the cognitive ability of higher vocational college students in English prefabricated chunks is weak, and there are many problems such as insufficient knowledge reserve of prefabricated chunks and weak awareness of their use. The aim is to develop students’ learning habits of memorizing, understanding, applying and transferring English language with prefabricated chunks as the smallest unit.
