Аннотация:Based on the basic definition of the amateur radio movement in the world, the report examines the foundations for the emergence of the design activity of radio amateurs in our country at the beginning of the 20th century and in the post-war period. Among the tasks facing radio amateurs were matters of national importance – the creation of radio structures for the national economy, radio and telephone installation of the country, participation in large-scale scientific experiments and solving specific problems related to the development of radio sports and its popularization among the population. This article reflects the design activities of the Crimean radio amateurs.
