Аннотация:The topic of this issue is the Xi'an incident of December 12, 1936, the key figure in which was Zhang Xueliang, son of Marshal Zhang Zuolin, formerly strong man in Manchuria in the 1920s. When Zhang Zuolin died in the bombing of his special train in 1928, Zhang Xueliang, then known as the Young Marshal, succeeded to the rulership of Manchuria.
