Аннотация:health effects.Only 12.9% of the community rated local air quality as high or very high, with 58.9% being concerned about the impacts of air pollution.Reassuringly 90.5% of respondents believed that community air quality required improvement.58.1% of the community reports waste is burnt near their household and smoke enters the house most of the time.57% of households have at least one smoker the majority of whom smoke indoors.87.5% of households reported cooking food indoors, 78.4% of which utilise gas as the primary fuel source. Conclusion:Exposure to air pollution in socioeconomically disadvantaged regions of the Philippines is multi-factorial.Further education regarding contributing factors and health burden of air pollution is required.An approach to reducing air pollution burden would need to focus on ambient air pollution.
