Аннотация:Meroterpenoids are hybrid natural products that are partially derived from terpenoids, and those from fungi exhibit extremely diverse structures and biological activities.Recent progress in the research of fungal meroterpenoid biosynthesis has revealed several unusual enzyme reactions, including post-cyclization modification reactions by oxygenases, such as FAD-dependent monooxygenases, cytochrome P450 monooxygenases, and non-heme iron-dependent dioxygenases.These oxidative processes build molecular complexity and contribute to the structural diversification of fungal meroterpenoids.In this presentation, our most recent structurefunction studies of these unique enzymes will be discussed.
