Trends in the prevention of illegal behaviour among teenagers in Russiaстатья из журнала
Аннотация: The paper systematizes the main trends in the prevention of illegal behaviour of minors in modern Russia. The urgency of illegal behaviour prevention in adolescents is substantiated by the changes in juvenile delinquency associated with the transformations of social relations, which implies the need to improve the system of measures aimed at preventing misconduct in accordance with social change. This article presents a review of scientific publications on the issue of illegal conduct prevention in minors from 2014 to 2020. The author identifies four general approaches to preventing illegal behaviour in teenagers. The clinical approach is based on the study of contributions made by various types of dysontogenesis and behaviour features in the form of a particular stable syndrome that determines illegal behaviour. The pedagogical approach considers any form of deviant behaviour to be a result of shortcomings in education. The focus of the psychological approach is on individual characteristics of children and adolescents, and correction is viewed as the main mechanism for preventing misconduct. The socio-psychological approach to prevention includes work aimed at promoting and enforcing social norms and rules of behaviour among both teenage delinquents themselves and the people in their environment. Based on the review, the author discusses the effectiveness of the current prevention programs. It is concluded that, depending on the approach, specialists focus on different aspects of the problem, which leads to excessive variability in the content of the proposed prevention programs, and significant differences in the understanding of the methodological foundations of preventive measures. As a result, all the approaches to deviant behaviour prevention in minors lack effectiveness. The author emphasizes the expediency of a comprehensive approach to the prevention of illegal behaviour in adolescents based on interdepartmental cooperation.
