Аннотация:The purpose of this study is to examine Oruç Aruoba's thoughts on the relationship between poetry and philosophy and to reveal what kind of a connection between poetry and philosophy he considers.Also, the study aims to show whether he reflects his theoretical thoughts on his works and his criticisms against the classical philosophical perception and academic philosophy.In this sense, Aruoba's definitions and envisions about poetry and philosophy are revealed, similarities underlined by the writer are particularly emphasized.It is tried to be explained how he sees and perceives poetical and philosophical knowledge.The common ground on which he tries to place poetry and philosophy is determined by using the concepts of reality and imagination.In this way, as a person contemplating upon the relationship between poetry and philosophy in Turkish literature and history of thought, Aruoba's works and struggle are highlighted.As a poet and writer producing haiku and engaging in philosophy, what kind of a structure
