Аннотация:The American Chemical Society Committee on Project SEED has announced the winners of its 2018–19 college scholarships. The recipients, who were selected from participants in the ACS Project SEED research program, received one-year, nonrenewable scholarships of up to $5,000 to help cover tuition and fees during their first year of college. The 28 scholarships for the 2018–19 academic year, which have a total value of $140,000, were funded by private corporations and individual donors. Additionally, three Project SEED alumni in their sophomore year received the three-year renewable Ciba Specialty Chemicals scholarship, which provides $5,000 per year.
