Аннотация:Mrochko R.M. Offender's identity as a element of forensic description of pumping. The author has exposed the identity of the offender as an element of forensic characteristics of the pimping. It is established that a set of certain data about the typical features of the subject of the crime allows the investigator: 1) to conduct effective first-rate investigative (search) actions; 2) promptly promulgate investigative versions; 3) make the most probable portrait of the pimp; 4) identify the entire structure of the criminal group; 5) narrow the range of searches of suspects; 6) to prevent a possible counteraction to the investigation; 7) to solve a number of other tasks of pre-trial investigation. The typical signs of the criminal's personality are analyzed by generalizing information about his social, physical, biological, economic, moral and demographic characteristics. It is proved that these properties are closely interconnected and directly affect the formation of a criminalistic portrait of the perpetrator. It is stressed that pimping is often organized by organized groups that have a certain structure and consist of: a) the organizer of the group (pimp); b) persons providing intimate services (prostitutes); c) persons who hold debauchery (homeowners, administrators); d) auxiliary personnel (drivers, guards); e) corrupt representatives of law enforcement agencies that cover the criminal activity.
