Аннотация:The article discusses the main directions of the historiography of state-confessional relations in Sevastopol region during 1783-2017. The main stages of its formation in the context of the socio-political situation of the corresponding historical period, the nature and priorities of the state confessional policy are identified. The authors ascertain that there are practically no generalizing studies on this topic; and in the existing publications relatively special aspects limited to narrow temporal frames are touched upon.
