Аннотация:This class is designed for new CF healthcare providers, of any discipline.It will provide a broad overview of many aspects of CF including: pulmonary, airway clearance techniques, CF nutritional issues, CF microbiology, adult self-care issues & some of the psychosocial aspects of life related to having CF.The class culminates with a panel of people from the CF community who will provide healthcare professionals with words of wisdom about living day-to-day with cystic fi brosis.The class will serve as a basic foundation of information to the new clinician that can be built upon throughout the rest of the conference.Objectives 1. Describe the basic pathophysiology of cystic fi brosis.2. List at least three types of airway clearance.3. Name three standard nutritional therapies for CF.
