Аннотация:Abstract Introduction of the Integrated Operations brought many innovations to the industry such as use of remote operations, increased automation, more collaboration in multidisciplinary teams and making better decisions from lessons learned. Integrated Operations are becoming the new industry standard as more operators are moving parts of operations from offshore to onshore real time operations centers, with more engineers being cross-trained in different technical disciplines and with the increased use and reliance on Internet and IT. With their introduction and development Industry is becoming part of the Internet-connected businesses and together with this transition, it is inevitably inheriting cybersecurity related threats and the vulnerabilities of IT systems. Over the recent years, cybersecurity threats have migrated from the individual hackers breaking into systems such as Kevin Mitnick to threats posed by organisations and nation states and use the highly sophisticated malware Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) such as Stuxnet. This sophisticated malware may be directed at political, military or industrial targets and uses multiple vectors to attack with a high level of stealthiness and persistence over time. It may be sent to cause sabotage at installations by disrupting regular operations of the critical systems and may have negative impact on the environment and economy. This paper will look into vectors of attack to the offshore installations that are utilising Remote Operations and will look into available solutions that may increase security of the offshore installations, environment and data.
