Аннотация:The taxonomic treatment of the Iridaceae from Bahia state, Brazil, is presented. Twenty-four species and seven genera are recognised: Alophia (A. drummondii), Cipura (2 species), Eleutherine (E. bulbosa), Neomarica (8), Pseudiris (P. speciosa), Sisyrinchium (4) and Trimezia (7). Seven species are endemic to Bahia. Identification keys, descriptions, taxonomic and ecological comments, illustrations and distribution maps of the species in Bahia are presented.
