Аннотация:Accumulating processes are of a great value in solving energy- and resource-savings questions in the design of regenerators and refractory protections of metallurgical units. The scope of consideration are all regeneration heat exchangers, material heat treatment processes of different materials, such as annealing of non-mineral materials, metal layout kilning, or scrap preheating before steelmaking. Summary condition solutions of thermal conduction equations of three simple forms are defined: a limitless plate, an unbounded cylinder and a sphere which are characterized by main parameters of the thermal mode. Series convergence conditions for simplifying the temperature area and dimensionless time of the stable temperature mode are defined, and a nomogram for the calculation of accumulated heat is proposed. Approximations for the determination of critical similarity numbers are proposed on account of the shape and thermal inertia of the body. One variant of the practical application of the proposed nomogram is considered.
