Аннотация:A myxoma is a neoplasm of mesenchymal origin that usually develops in soft tissues. Myxoma of bone (intraosseous myxoma) is rare, usually occurring in the mandible or less commonly in the maxilla. We report a case of a myxoma arising from the lateral orbital wall. To our knowledge, only one previous case of a myxoma in this location has been reported.1
Report of a Case.
—A 40-year-old woman presented with a 1-year history of recurrent periorbital swelling and redness of the left eye, accompanied by a burning sensation. An eye examination revealed only 3 mm of left proptosis and mild swelling of the left upper eyelid.
