Аннотация:Abstract A new monoterpene glycoside, mudanpioside J ( 3 ), was isolated from the root cortex of Paeonia suffruticosa . Its structure has been established on the basis of spectral evidence. In addition, six known compounds, campesterol ( 4 ), 4‐hydroxyacetopenone ( 5 ), kaempferol ( 6 ), 3‐hydroxy‐4‐methoxybenzoic acid ( 7 ), hederagenin ( 8 ) and galloylpaeoniflorin ( 9 ) were also isolated. A screening test of monoterpene glycosides and aromatic acids derived from P. suffruticosa and P. lactiflora on arachidonic acid, thrombin, collagen and PAF induced rabbit platelet aggregation suggests aromatic acids may play an important role in inhibition of platelet aggregation, inflammation and hemorrhage due to bacterial infection.
