Аннотация:Abstract This paper aims to review the exhibition of works from the Digital Bauhaus after five years of activities. This is done in the light of the originally formulated manifesto for a Digital Bauhaus and the ensuing debate with a specific discussion of the creative collaboration between art and technology. By analysing three works from the exhibition in this framework, it is demonstrated that the Digital Bauhaus vision is not only an intellectual construction expressed in a manifesto, but is actually realized in the works made by students and researchers. The paper concludes by raising the question whether the Digital Bauhaus will be able to work according to the political ideals formulated in the manifesto or if these ideals will have to be reformulated to be in accordance with the ideals of the surrounding—and funding—society.
