Una gran cantidad de documentacion nos permite tejer la red de gente e intereses economicos implicados en las principales redes comerciales y financieras y internacionales surgidas de los puertos del Pais Vasco. Estas redes pueden ser divididas en tres niveles. En primer lugar, las redes regionales que unian el litoral con los territorios adyacentes. En segundo lugar, el Pais Vasco creo redes con prestigiosas companias comerciales francesas, inglesas, holandesas, alemanas y flamencas. En tercer lugar, existio una red comercial y financiera internacional a la que se unieron los vascos a traves de Bayona y Cadiz. EnglishAs part of the Spanish Empire, the Basque Country played an important role in the process of globalization during the eighteenth century. A vast amount of documentation allows us to weave together the network of people and economic interests involved in the main international trade and financial networks emanating from ports in the Basque Country. These networks can be divided into three levels. First, there were regional networks linking the coast with nearby territories. Second, the Basque Country developed networks with prestigious French, English, Dutch, German and Flemish trading companies. Third, there was an international trade and financial network which the Basques linked into through Bayonne and Cadiz.
