Аннотация:The electrochemical reduction of sensitive sulfonamides is described. The addition of a benzoyl group on the nitrogen atom facilitates the reductive cleavage of sulfonamides preventing β-fragmentation and epimerization. This strategy was successfully applied to the cyclopropylamine and to α-amino stannanes.
