Аннотация:Some degree of stimulation of the thyroid gland by human chorionic gonadotropin is common during early pregnancy.1–3 When serum chorionic gonadotropin concentrations are abnormally high — for example, in women with molar pregnancies — overt hyperthyroidism may ensue.
