Direct Measurements of Charmed-D -Meson Hadronic Branching Fractionsстатья из журнала
Аннотация: A new technique is applied to data collected at the $\ensuremath{\psi}(3770)$ resonance to derive charmed-$D$-meson branching fractions without relying on the measurement of $D$-production cross sections. Measurements are presented for three decay modes of the ${D}^{0} ({K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}, {D}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}, \mathrm{and} {K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ and four decay modes of the ${D}^{+} ({K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+},{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0},{K}_{S}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}, \mathrm{and} {K}_{S}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0})$. The resulting branching fractions are significantly larger than previous measurements.
