Аннотация:Optimization of the submerged culture conditions in a bioreactor for the production of Lentinus edodesThis research used an experimental design for optimizing and determining some of the submerged culture conditions effect over Lentinus edodes biomass production and its composition. To start with, glucose concentration, aeration and agitation effect were evaluated in the culture medium using a Box-Behnken design, which, allows concluding glucose concentration and agitation had a significant effect over the response variables (biomass, sterols and polysaccharides). Also, it was figured out that 1.2 vvm, 60 rpm and 21.97g / L were the values for aeration, agitation, and glucose concentration respectively for biomass production optimization.Subsequently, sterols and total carbohydrates were extracted from biomass and quantified through a spectrophotometric analysis, which, allows to determine that although these response variables were optimized using the same values for aeration and agitation obtained from the biomass production optimization, the glucose concentration was different (16.32 g / L for sterols and 19.6 g / L for total polysaccharides). Finally, the extracts profile was analyzed using HPLC-DAD and GC-MS.It was found that glucose affects the number of chromatographic signals and the quantity of different metabolites groups.
