Аннотация:The spectrum of light transmission through a structure consisting of a metallic layer and a cholesteric liquid crystal with an induced planar defect is calculated. The possibility of existence of localized states at the metal–dielectric interface of this system is demonstrated. The transmission spectra at different positions of the defect in the structure are studied.
