Аннотация:In this article discusses the features of creating the Kuban hydroelectric power plants cascade model in the Matlab Simulink software package in order to analyze the possible water-energy modes of operation of the hydroelectric complex. The solution of this problem will improve the efficiency of hydroelectric power plants and the reliability of water supply to consumers of the water management complex, depending on the operating mode of the cascade. The first part provides an overview of publications devoted to the problems and existing modeling methods of the hydroelectric power plants cascade, and also describes the object of study. The second part contains a description of the hydroelectric power plants cascade mathematical model, water-energy units and their aggregation. The final part contains a description of the simulation model of the hydroelectric power plants cascade developed in the Simulink environment, as well as its validation on the statistical data of the parameters of the water-energy mode.
