Статья посвящена проблеме отсутствия в историографии единообразия в описании событий подписания Нерчинского и Кяхтинского договоров. На протяжении двух веков в отечественной историографии присутствует убедительная, опирающаяся на комплекс исторических источников, четкая и единообразная картина событий подписания Нерчинского договора, но при этом сохраняется противоречивая картина событий подписания Кяхтинского договора. Решение проблемы восстановления исторической картины событий подписания Кяхтинского договора возможно посредством обращения к опубликованным в России историческим документам.
The work is devoted to the problem of the lack of uniformity in the historiography in describing the events of the signing of the Nerchinsk and Kyakhta Treaties. For two centuries, Russian historiography has had a convincing, clear and uniform picture of the events of the signing of the Nerchinsk Treaty, based on a set of historical sources, but at the same time, a contradictory and confused picture of the events of the signing of the Kyakhta Treaty remains. The solution to the problem of restoring the historical picture of the events of the signing of the Kyakhta Treaty is sufficient to refer to historical documents published in Russia.
