Аннотация:Presented are the estimated results of coal industry impact on the ecological system of Kuzbass, leading coal mining district of the Russian Federation. It is demonstrated, that the annually increasing portion of coal, extracted by open pit mining, affects natural ecological systems preservation. Specific scientifically substantiated measures for natural ecological systems preservation and reclamation of the lands, disturbed during mining/, are recommended.
