Аннотация:Theimplementation of wind turbines into electrical networks results in the emergence of system problems associated with the loss of stability during transient processes. This paper is devoted to the development of virtual inertia of power systems. This is commonly believed that virtual inertia is constant. However, the paper proposes the development of dynamic models of both static and dynamic virtual inertia. The paper describes that static inertia gives a significant profit in maintaining the voltage during transient processes. However, it has a significant drawback under normal conditions, which is associated with a decrease of the efficiency of the wind turbine active power output. On the contrary, the use of systems with dynamic inertia has a considerable disadvantage when operating with the loop maintaining the nominal voltage during transient processes. But, in steady state conditions, it increases the efficiency of active power output. Adjustment of corresponding regulators for the possibility of hybrid participation in the development of the wind turbine virtual inertia in the form of their corresponding transfer functions, operating in both static and dynamic modes of virtual inertia, will enhance the quality of voltage control during power system transients and improve the efficiency of electricity generation under steady state conditions.
