Аннотация:Samples of nickel oxide nanopowder are studied in arc discharge plasma inside a chamber at a gas mixture pressure of 70 Pa. The nanopowder is synthesized in the arc discharge plasma, argon being a plasma-forming gas. The nanoparticles are deposited on substrates at temperatures of 300, 400, 500, and 600 K for 30 min. X-ray diffraction analysis confirms the polycrystalline nature of obtained NiO nanoparticles at different deposition temperatures. The nanoparticle size is in the range of 3.2–32.7 nm. On the basis of the results obtained on magnetizing samples with cooling in a zero field, the core/shell type of magnetic structure of NiO nanoparticles is established. Assumptions are made on the magnetic state of the nucleus and the shell of particles.
