Аннотация:Bionics was formed and got its name in the 50-60s of the XX century as a natural result of the dialectical development of science. The doctrine of how to use “patents” of wildlife in engineering, construction, medicine, cosmetology and other industries allows now and, of course, will allow in the future to solve a wide range of engineering and technical problems facing mankind. That is why acquaintance with it should begin at an early age. In elementary school, a child develops the minimum amount of knowledge necessary to perceive information about what nature is, what processes, how and why occur in living organisms. At the same time, primary school students are distinguished by curiosity, readiness to perceive new knowledge, many of them love to learn. If the teacher, taking on the function of introducing children to the principles of bionics, presents the material in an accessible and entertaining way, he will certainly succeed. Another obvious condition is that introductory information about bionics should be linked to the curriculum and complement it. This article presents the results of an analysis of the potential of bionics as a means of developing the worldview of younger students and a review of existing methods and approaches to the system of knowledge assimilation.
