Аннотация:The socio-economic significance of sustainable agricultural development at the regional level has been determined. The main indicators of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Buryatia for the last decade are considered. It was found that the growth in agricultural production was provided largely due to the government support. This very instrument allowed agricultural entrepreneurs to increase production volumes by several times. A significant rise in the key indicators of the region's industry functioning was revealed, which in general had a positive effect on the level of the republic's agricultural efficiency. The assessment of the enterprises' supply with agricultural machinery is given. The calculation of agricultural organizations profitability operating in animal husbandry and crop production has been done. The focus on the livestock-raising in Buryatia is indicated. The main trends in region's agriculture development have been determined.
