Аннотация:The innovative way for the world economy development has caused the need for a comprehensive assessment of the innovative potential of different-level objects. All elements of the organization's production and economic system are developed through developing its innovative potential. A competent assessment of the innovative potential is very important as the correct choice of the innovation strategy and its implementation depends on its state. The relevance of this study\research is also due to the need for creating scientific and methodological materials for the analysis and assessment of the innovative potential. The purpose of this study is to form methodological approaches to solving the problem of assessing the innovative potential of an enterprise. To achieve the goal of the study, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: to determine the role of the innovative potential assessment in the development of the organization; to study the existing technique and methods of assessing the innovative potential; to develop methodological tools for assessing the organization's innovative potential. The main hypothesis of the study is the assumption that the generalized and structured characteristics of indicators for assessing the innovative potential will help ensure the effective management of the enterprise development and will significantly simplify the analysis and the assessment of the innovative potential. The practical significance of the research results is that the proposed method of component assessment of the innovative potential should ensure the determination of its level with a high degree of accuracy and objectivity. As a result, it becomes possible to identify problematic elements in each component of the innovative potential and quickly develop recommendations for improving the level of the innovative potential by its specific components. The developed methodology and methodological recommendations can be used in developing management decisions in order to increase the level of the innovative potential of an enterprise.?
