Аннотация:Cheboksary hydroelectric power station-a hydroelectric power station on the Volga river was the final stage of construction of the Cascade of hydroelectric power stations on the Volga, consisting of nine hydroelectric stations. It is located at the junction of the power systems of the Middle Volga and the Urals and generates one third of the total electricity consumed by the Chuvash Republic. The main and auxiliary equipment is already obsolete, and in some cases, has reached its acceptable physical wear and is subject to replacement and reconstruction. At the moment, the main equipment of the station is being completely reconstructed to meet modern standards. As part of the comprehensive modernization program of RusHydro, 15 of the station's 18 hydro turbines have already been switched to the design rotary-blade mode. All outdated oil switches of the open switchgear (ORU) with a voltage of 220 kV have been replaced with modern gas-fired equipment. After replacing the switches on the ORU-220 kV, they will start replacing all air switches on the ORU-500 kV with gas-powered ones, as well as updating the relay protection and emergency automation of the switchgear.[4] The article deals with the reconstruction of the 500 kV ORU of the Cheboksary HPP, provides information about the existing power supply system, as well as provides General information and basic technical solutions.[4]?
