Аннотация:In Russia, harsh winter climatic conditions. During the operation of hydraulic structures in the autumn-winter period there are problems associated with the freezing of metal structures and their elements. Paddles are an important part of any hydropower plant. Safety of operation of the entire station directly depends on the reliability of the closures, therefore, these devices are given special attention. ?The article deals with the problems of the winter operation of the gates of a hydroelectric power station. The existing methods of heating the mechanical equipment of hydraulic structures are considered. A method for combating icing of the main gates of overflow dams is proposed. ?
