В статье рассмотрены обнаруженные особенности изменений линейных размеров образцов сплавов алюминий-кремний при нагреве и охлаждении в процессах термической и термоциклической обработки. Показано, что аномальные эффекты расширения-сжатия в литых образцах, содержащих эвтектику, обусловлены нарушением сплошности непрерывного эвтектического бикристалла.
